[afflink][prsample]
It’s that magical time of year again! That time where Sephora has a straight up percent-off discount on everything so you can do your seasonal beauty refresh without totally destroying your bank account. Details:
- Rouge: 20% off, 4/26 – 5/6 with code HEYROUGE
- VIB: 15% off, 5/2 – 5/6 with code HEYVIB
- BI: 10% off, 5/2 – 5/6 with code HEYINSIDER
As usual, here’s an updated list of the things I think are worth serious consideration when you’re making up that sweet, sweet sale shopping cart.
Makeup
Givenchy Encre Inderdite ($33)
Disclaimer: I haven’t actually seen this in person yet. But lip stains are incredible for low maintenance summer makeup and Givenchy is my favorite lipstick brand, so the conditions were perfect for a blind buy. I’m pretty excited about this, so I’ll let you know how it goes.
Urban Decay Game of Thrones Eyeshadow Palette ($65)
As much as I don’t usually get into pop-culture-themed products, I’m actually having a lot of fun with this one. It has a good mix of colors along with the UD formula we all know and love. I received this one from UD, so you can head over to my instagram post for swatches if you’re so inclined.
Hourglass Caution Mascara ($14-29)
I thought there was WAY too much pre-launch hype about this on their instagram account but… it actually is that good. It somehow has that magical balance of volume, separation and long wear. I got my first one with a promo code and liked it so much that I actually bought it – and that almost never happens with me and mascara.
Skincare
Clarisonic Mia Smart Set ($249)
I’d be doing you a major disservice if I didn’t recommend taking advantage of your discount to pick up the new Mia Smart. The eye massage head is incredible, and it’s so. nice. to finally be able to adjust the routines. FYI, if you already have the old Smart Profile, the eye massager works with that brush too.
REN Clean Screen SPF 30 ($36)
I received this from REN, but if I hadn’t – I’d definitely still buy it anyway. I’ve had some issues with silicone-based sunscreens in the past, so having a silicone-free option is a Big Deal. It needs a few minutes to set before the shine dies down, but once it does it sits really well under makeup.
Shiseido Refreshing Cleansing Sheets ($20)
Because sometimes a full face wash just isn’t happening. I like these because there’s no extra fluff to them – no exfoliating, no ‘detoxifying’, no anti-aging – just clean your face and move on with your life.
Hair & Fragrance
Dyson Supersonic Mother’s Day Set ($399)
If you’ve been on the fence about a Dyson hair dryer, now is THE best time to get it. It cuts my drying time down by a huge amount, and this set with the detangling comb and paddle brush is a nice little bonus.
IGK Direct Flight Dry Shampoo ($14-27)
Back when I did my dry shampoo roundup, IGK’s Jet Lag was my overall favorite. Since then they’ve released Direct Flight, which is a little more absorbent and longer lasting. I’ve added a lot more exercise to my life this year, and this is a post-workout fave because who wants to wash their hair every day (and sometimes twice)?
Jo Malone London Star Magnolia ($72)
This limited edition scent for spring was actually available a couple years ago. I waffled on it too long and missed out, so you better bet I snapped it right up this time around. It’s a great fresh floral that’ll work well all through the spring and summer.
I know you guys have already been plotting your purchases so – what’s on your list?
