Saturday Link Love: Season 2, Ep 7

It’s the weeeeekeeeeend – finally! I’m kind of counting down to when it warms up to a reasonable temperature here. We’ve had more snow this year than usual, so I’m ready for winter to be over. Now that I’m done with my mini-rant, here are some posts that I enjoyed this week.

My absolute favorite Valentine’s Day post for this year is from The Notice – a superbly-written review of the Je Joue MiMi Soft vibrator. It’s really refreshing to see this treated as a ‘normal’ aspect of self-care, and Valentine’s Day is a great time to post it.

Last week I tagged Bisous Darling and Pigmented Lips in my 30 Random Facts post, and they delivered!

Makeup4all is growing up! Five years old, with a giveaway to celebrate.

Today is the last day for the epic beauty GWP from Barneys, and Beauty Gypsy has some suggestions on what to buy.

10AM Beauty has a great tutorial on applying false lashes (I’m taking notes, because I’m terrible at it!).

Coffee is a subject near and dear to my heart. It hadn’t occurred to me to get fragrances with coffee notes until I saw the post on it from The Non-Blonde – but guess what’s on my wishlist now?

On a fashion-related note, Cupcakes & Cashmere had the genius idea to round up a bunch of v-neck tshirts so you can see a comparison. Almost all of them are brands I’d have to buy online (or drive more than an hour to try on) so it might be one of the most useful fashion blog posts I’ve ever seen.

I’ve been reading Rae’s blog for a long time, and I have to agree – her post yesterday was easily the best of the day and one of my favorite theNotice posts in general. I’ll be very excited to see where she goes with this series!

Thank you so, so much for the link love, Nikki. You managed to trudge though 1000 words and come away with exactly the message I wanted to be sending, so: thank you. That means the world to me, and I am so touched that you enjoyed the post.
