There haven’t been any face o’ the day posts in a while, so here you go. Now, normally I’d crop out as much of my kitchen background as possible – that’s the best natural light in my house, and who has time to set up photo lights before work? Someone who isn’t me, that’s who. But I want you to take a look at the background, to the right, at what is seriously the most terrifying tap handle ever, right there on the keg fridge (there’s a black one on the other tap just off-screen too). Those are there in the middle of the night when I get up for a drink. A friend 3D-scanned and printed those for us, so uh, thanks, I guess?

I digress. I seem to have gotten too tan for my Hourglass foundation and I’ve finally accepted that my skin doesn’t play well with Dior Nude Air, so I had to break into my foundation samples today. This Estee Lauder one (3N1, I think) is actually a really good match for me and looks really nice on. We’ll have to see how it holds up through the humidity, but I already like it enough that I’ll probably go and at least get a sample. Also broke out tiny versions of MAC Prep+Prime to use for the first time, and Armani Fluid Sheer #2. In case you absolutely need to know everything, here’s the full list:
